Title: Favorite Tracks..So Far
Post by: aurthur jaded on June 22, 2016, 02:03:33 AM
I think we've all had time to spin the new album a few times (more like a few dozen times) and I've seen some members have commented on their favorite songs in various topics on the board. Your favorites may change as you listen to the album more, but for now list your favorites here if you'd like..

Top 5..no particular order

1. dark necessities
2. the getaway
3. The Hunter
4. Sick Love
5. Detroit

Only on my second listen to the whole cd, but so far...

Dark Necessities
We Turn Red
Sick Love...and is it just me or are parts (mainly the first part, dangerously close to the melody of Bennie and the Jets? I played Bennie for my daughter and she agreed)
Go Robot

Didn't notice Trace til you mentioned it, and it does have a similar melody.. I thought dark necessities intro sounded alot like Venice Queen, same beat too. BTW Goodbye Yellow Brick Road is a great album. ;D

Now that you mention it, yes, it DOES remind me of Venice Queen...maybe why I liked it upon first listen. ;D

Sick Love gives a credit to Elton John and Bernie Taupin for that reason
