Hello,
I've got a band and I'd like to receive some feedback. Everything is instrumental, we searched for a vocalist some time but couldn't find anyone suitable. Nevertheless, we're trying to express our feelings through our instruments as long as we don't become boring.

Get a metronome if you are overdubbing (recording instruments separately) or get a drummer to keep you guys tight. Thats one of their roles as a drummer. Keeping it funky!

Well, the sync thingie is because of my poor mixing. I accidentally moved the 2nd guitar track a little bit to the right, and being on a hurry I didn't listen to the song again. Now I must find the .mx5 file again (we work with  Mixcraft).
We thought about a drummer before, we even have someone in mind, but we're unsure if he is the right choice.

Hi guys, I'm back on the forum after a pause, also back on recording.
I'm not sure if anyone really cares about me or about my band, but I'll be updating this thread with new songs and whatever else we're doing. Just for the sake of doing it.
In late August we've found a singer and since I began making up lyrics (currently, all my lyrics are in Romanian, not sure whether I will or not write in English). Since then, we didn't record any new songs because school began and we don't have enough time free time anymore.
The only exception is this song, called "Zavi 2" (don't ask, it doesn't mean anything in any language I ever came across). This is an all-instrumental featuring only me, recorded last week. Take a look:

It's basically me soloing over 3 other guitar layers. I've got like other 25 - 30 riffs written, and they're radically different from the stuff we did before. This is the only one I recorded because the others need more team-work, some of them being only song openings and being in need of more polishing. But I think I talked too much just to present our new song. I'll let you tell me what you think.

BTW, I'm Alex, mostly the lead guitarist, the other guitarist is Mihai (you can tell him Michael if you want) and the singer is Mihaela (Michelle). If that helps in any way

You guys have a nice sound and alot of talent, some of my suggestions would be to Pick up the pace a little bit and make your bands music a little more up beat, get a drummer, and to explore with some new sounds every now and then.

We do actually have upbeat songs, they're simply not recorded yet.
I don't know if we'll ever find a drummer, the only person we had in mind sold his drum set. I know that there are many other drummers around, but I wouldn't like to have someone we don't know in the band. We started this band with a chat like this: "Hey dude, check out this riff. I wrote it." "Hey, that's cool mate, I made one too." "I like that!" "How about starting a band?" "Hmmm, maybe." And after two weeks Mihai was asking me what the name of the band should me. So it's more like a friends band, I don't think a stranger would fit.
Anyway, thank you for the feedback! It really helps to see that people actually like our music!
