If you ask me, Valentine's is not what I consider jolly and filled with happiness, I lost a baby on valentine's 2010. Wasn't even aware I was pregnant, but the loss was hard. (the baby was visible, he was 3 or 4 months if I recall what the doctor has told me). I didn't want to be pregnant, but I had two kids and to see I held life and lost it made me so sad even though I couldn't afford emotionnaly to have another one (long story, really long story).

Before that happened, I thought that Valentine was a way for malls to make money out of people and a way for people to feel like they did their effort for the year with romance. I even ask my boyfriend not to buy anything or remind me it is valentine's day on that day. It is a heartbreak for the lonely, a moneymaker for the rich, a struggle for the poor and a painful memory for many people, as me. That's my opinion.

But I agree with earthquake for the red, it is my favorite color.
