...is a complete and total ripoff of Dani California. Ya'll gonna let him get away with that??  Angry   ...OK, let me be clearer about this. I heard "Pirate Flag" last night on a country radio station. The song's music sounds almost exactly like the song "Dani California"!! I believe Kenny Chesney ripped off RHCP!

I know what part you are referring to, trust me, its NOT a rip off. Sure, a few chords are the same, but its not a rip off.

Some songs sound like others.

If you want to hear a better example of a rip off (even though its not), Dani California is more of a rip off of "Mary Jane's Last Dace" by Tom Petty.  Grin 

I remember when that little argument ruled the boards.
